PushPULL Dance Toronto will soon be hosting auditions for our 19th season! If you’re passionate about dance and love to perform, we’d love to meet you!

Audition Forms and Required Documents

Audition forms will be made available at the auditions. There will be time will be allotted between 5 and 5:30 pm on September 11th, for candidates to register and fill out the audition form. Please bring proof of vaccination against Covid-19 to the audition. Masks are optional.

​​Our auditions take place over two separate nights. Attendance is required on both nights in order to be considered.

NIGHT ONE
DATE: Sunday, September 11
TIME: 5 - 5:30 pm (Registration), 5:30 - 6:30 pm (Class), 6:30 - 7:30 pm (Choreography), 7:30 - 9 pm (Interviews)
WHERE: Metro Movement (833 Broadview Avenue)
PARKING: There is street parking available in the area of the dance studio.

NIGHT TWO
DATE: Wednesday, September 14
TIME: 7:30 - 9:30 pm (Class and choreography)
WHERE: Gotta Dance (3581B Dundas Street West)
PARKING: There is street parking available on side streets near the dance studio.

What to Expect

Each night will involve a warm-up, a class, and a short segment of choreography to learn, each in a different style of dance. Our auditions are pretty casual, so there is no need to prepare any solos in advance. All of the dance styles being taught during the auditions can be danced barefoot, but please feel free to bring dance shoes such as ballet slippers, jazz oxfords or foot thongs if you'd prefer (no street shoes please). 

In addition to the dancing, you’ll also be asked to sign up for a short interview. Don’t worry, it’s nothing formal, it’s just an opportunity for you to tell us a bit more about yourself! All interviews will be scheduled between 7:30 - 9 pm on September 11. Please feel free to contact us if you have any further questions!
